About Jessica Conway, RN, MSN, RYTT

Somatic Practitioner | Registered Nurse | Embodied Guide

Jessica Conway is a Somatic Practitioner, Registered Nurse, and a dedicated companion on the journey of reconnecting with our deepest self and wise inner knowing. With over 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Jessica brings a wealth of embodied knowledge and compassion to her work. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from UCLA in 2009, and much of her nursing career has been spent in the ICU and currently in hospice care. Since 2017, Jessica has also been a yoga teacher, and her holistic approach to healing integrates her background in healthcare with her deep passion for somatic therapy.

Jessica’s own somatic journey began in 2018, when she began working with Somatic Therapy as a client. This experience inspired her to shift focus professionally, and in 2022, she became certified in Integrative Somatic Therapy. She is trained in Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, Polyvagal Theory, Safe and Sound Protocol, and mindfulness, blending these modalities to create a compassionate, body-centered approach to healing and self-discovery.

Current Focus & Philosophy
Jessica is deeply committed to guiding individuals on a journey of embodied self-discovery. As a Somatic Practitioner, she sees her role as a friend to your soul and a midwife to your nervous system and soma. Her work is rooted in the belief that the body holds the wisdom needed to unlock healing, resilience, and transformation. Through her unique integration of nature-based wisdom, somatic therapies, and mindfulness, Jessica helps clients connect to the deep intelligence of their bodies, uncover their inner truths, and cultivate a loving relationship with themselves.

“My mission is to provide a safe and nurturing space where you can rediscover the strength of your loving awareness, allowing your body to become a temple for your soul — a sanctuary that holds and supports all parts of the human experience. From this foundation of care, you will reconnect with your deepest self and wild inner knowing, leading to greater clarity, ease, and trust in yourself."

Jessica’s work invites clients to step into the wilderness of their own being, gently exploring the parts that may have been forgotten, stuck, or closed off. In this process, clients learn to meet these parts with compassion, creating a holding environment for healing and transformation. Through this journey, individuals are empowered to transform old patterns, heal trauma, and embody their fullest expression in every aspect of their lives.

Hakmoi Mindfulness Psychotherapy

Each offering is uniquely attuned to the individual. However, I often use a mix of approaches in my work including Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, and Mindfulness. With expertise in Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Attachment Theory, Somatic Parts Work, the Safe and Sound Protocol, and more, I am dedicated to providing a comprehensive and tailored approach to each unique journey.

I also weave mindfulness, nature-based therapies, and contemplative practices into my therapeutic work because I believe that nature, soul and spirit based practices can complement the somatic inner journey.
